Emotional Intelligence: How Do I get It?
What is Emotional Intelligence and how do I get it? Discover this very interactive workshop where you will learn about your level of Emotional Intelligence and how to improve it. High emotional intelligence is associated with strong employee engagement, effective leadership and building a successful job path. Each participant will complete an assessment to determine their strengths and weaknesses regarding their Emotional Intelligence and we will develop an action plan for improvement. 

Navigating Your Career
Are you secure in your career path? Do you need guidance for progressing in your career? Do you know where to start? Allow us to show you how to move your career to the next level. This “navigation” can be done as an individual “coaching session” or as a group workshop where each participant will leave with a “plan of action” and clearer direction on how to “Navigate YOUR Career”.  

Step 1: Self-Assessment
Self-assessment is the first step in the process. This involves identifying your values, interests, skills and personality.

Step 2: Exploration
Exploration in the second step and involves research about career options.

Step 3: Verification
Verification is the third step and provides an opportunity confirm your career options and appropriate fit.

Step 4: Implementation
Implementation is the last step in the process and provides detailed action steps to take necessary steps for success.  

Now, Discover Your Strengths
Do you get feedback about your weaknesses? Do you understand that you have strengths but need to understand how to better use them to improve your weaknesses? This workshop is based off the book, “Strengthsfinder 2.0 - Discover Your Clifton Strengths” by Donald Clifton. Each person will complete the StrengthsFinder assessment and develop an individualized action plan for developing your strengths. 

How To Have A Successful Book Launch: From Creation to Publication
You did it! It’s done! You finished writing your book! But what is next? How do you get it published? Do you self-publish, get a publisher or is there another option? What is your marketing plan? 

As a member of the Independent Book Publishing Association, the largest publishing trade association in the US, I will take you through my book publishing experience and provide you with tools and expertise to assist with your process. I can’t help you write your book, but I can share my experience with the process I used - from writing through publication. In addition to some clear steps regarding the process, I have developed a marketing plan that will be shared with participants. No need in recreating the wheel! This “workshop” can be conducted as a 1:1 consultation or with a group.

Managing Through Differences (Diversity Insights)

This workshop is designed for leaders who need to understand and manage diversity and inclusion in an environment that values both diversity and inclusion. We will discuss the definition of diversity, inclusion, bias and unconscious bias and look at detailed examples on how to recognize concerns and how to address them in yourself and others.  This is an interactive workshop with real life examples and scenarios to work through. The Privilege Walk and Most Trusted activates will be two tools that will definitely be impactful.  You won’t leave the same as when you entered the room! 

Bringing Behaviors and Performance to Life Through DISC
Understanding who you are and why you behave the way you do is critical in building strong personal and professional relationships and is crucial to your success in the workplace! This workshop will provide an in-depth look at the DISC Behavior Profile Assessment and use your specific results to help you understand your unique behavioral style and the style of others. You will also receive tools to help you understand how to adapt to effectively communicate with those around you. 

Each participant will receive a DISC assessment that will be administered prior to the workshop as well as a custom report identifying the unique DISC style. A 30 minute 1:1 consultation with the facilitator will be available to each participant prior to the workshop to discuss the individual results. 

So You Want to Lead?  Then Do it!
This workshop is designed for people in technical roles who are also leaders in their organization. They usually do not have direct reports but have to exhibit influence without authority. We will discuss barriers to being a leader, 5 steps to being an effective and successful leader and create an action plan for developing as a leader. 

Supervisory 101 - How to be an effective supervisor
This workshop is designed for the first level supervisor to assist them with the basic skills of managing people. It includes topics such as:  Understanding the Role of the Supervisor; communication and Connecting with Peers and Your Direct Reports; Feedback and Coaching; Managing Performance and Discipline; Conflict Resolution and Documentation. This workshop is very interactive and filled with role plays and practical activities. Timing varies but it is recommended that this session is conducted over a 4 - 6 hour block (customization available).

Intentional Leadership

This workshop on Intentional Leadership is designed for all levels of leaders (first line supervisors on up) and includes engaging and stimulating discussions about leadership in general, and the five levels of being an “Intentional Leader”. Based off the book, Intentional Living, by John Maxwell, we will delve into intentional leadership and the process of deciding in advance how we want to be perceived by those that we lead. We will work on these three steps:

Decide, Identify, Commit:
  1. Decide who you are and what you stand for. 
  2. Identify the gaps between how you want to be perceived and how you are behaving today. 
  3. Commit to closing those gaps.

Learning to Lead Through The Leadership Game

The John Maxwell Leadership Game is a fun and comprehensive way to learn how to improve leadership within an organization. The game helps organizations improve their leadership intelligence and increase their effectiveness by raising their leadership awareness and applying core leadership principles and values. Fun and educational – a great team-building tool that will provide insight to leadership skills within the team and the organization. This workshop can be conducted with intact teams or strangers!  It’s fun, interactive, educational and impactful.  If conducted with an intact team, a Debrief will be held with the leader to provide coaching for success.
